Taare Zameen Par is one of the iconic circle of relatives entertainers, directed and produced via Aamir Khan. But did you already know that the element become to begin with written for Akshaye Khanna and now not Aamir? In a beyond interview, Khanna recalled how Aamir had study the film’s script before him and ended up main the show.

In an antique interview with Mid-Day India, Akshaye Khanna hilariously recalled being 'cheated' via Aamir Khan for Taare Zameen Par. During the chat whilst the host requested Khanna if Taare Zameen Par creator Amole Gupte approach him to play the lead function within the movie, Akshaye answered with a quick ‘no’.

The Dhurandhar megastar went on to relate that Amole approached Aamir Khan, pronouncing that he didn’t recognise Akshaye, but he wanted to narrate a tale to him. “I don’t understand him; you just labored with Akshaye on Dil Chahta Hai. Can you call him and inform him I want to relate a script?” Gupte told Khan.Khan stated that he can’t advise the script until he hears it first. So, the writer went on to relate his story to the Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood. The script right away hit a chord with Khan who didn’t need to allow it move. “He liked it a lot that he ended up doing it,” shared Khanna.

Later, when he met with Aamir at one of the film studios, Khan admittingly advised entire incident to Khanna. “I didn’t allow him to come back to you; I did the film myself,” the Lagaan actor informed Akshaye, who replied with “Okay, no hassle.”

To refresh your memory, Aamir not just led the movie, he also made his directorial debut with it. The 2007 psychological drama film ended up becoming a mega blockbuster and gained a couple of accolades, including three National Film Awards.

On the paintings front, Akshaye Khanna will be subsequent seen in Dhurandhar 2, which is set to launch in theatres on March 19, 2026. As for Aamir, he will be making a cameo in his manufacturing challenge, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos.
