He later starred in “Lai Bhaari” (2014) and “Ved” (2022), both Marathi titles produced by way of his stable. When requested to comment on the ongoing debate about rising star prices and overhead charges, the actor-producer instructed PTI: "I'm a manufacturer who casts me and I do not pay myself, so I'm high-quality. I just sense that it's critical which you do no longer burden any movie with an actor's price because the movie desires to live on. And if the film survives, all people will survive."

Gupta, recognised for movies inclusive of “Aamir” and “Raid”, said the general value of production desires to "come down". "The money needs to be spent within the proper region. Having stated that, there also desires to be transparency from the studio or manufacturer's side. A lot of instances what occurs is humans don't want to join a model due to the fact they suppose that there's no transparency. "As an enterprise, all of us need to return collectively to go to another stage. We need to make films on a price range which matches for all of us," the director said.
