The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) purportedly recorded draft charges against Rhea Chakraborty, her sibling Showik Chakraborty and others on Wednesday. The charges were recorded in a medication case connected to the end of entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput in June, 2020.

According to PTI, extraordinary public examiner Atul Sarpande said that the arraignment keeps up with every one of the charges against all the denounced, as those referenced in the chargesheet submitted under the steady gaze of the court. For the unversed, the NCB had charged the denounced on charges including Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(A), 22, 27, 27A, 28, 29, and 30 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Besides, the indictment proposed to the court to charge Rhea Chakraborty and her sibling Showik for utilization of opiate substances, as well with respect to obtaining and paying for these substances for SSR.

Public examiner Sarpande likewise shared that the court was planned to document these charges against all blamed. In any case, he added, that it wasn't possible as a couple of the charged moved release applications.

The court kept up with that the charges would be documented solely after the release requests of the blamed were chosen.

Rhea, Showik, and the wide range of various denounced were available under the watchful eye of court on Wednesday. Extraordinary adjudicator V.G. Raghuwanshi posted the matter for hearing on July 12.

Rhea Chakraborty was captured for the situation in September 2020. Very nearly a month after the fact, she was conceded bail by the Bombay High Court.
