Junaid Khan reacts to Maharaj trending at Netflixs second spot in 22 countries

Maharaj, a Netflix and YRF Entertainment production, has seemed in 22 nations' worldwide non-English pinnacle ten lists. The film, which debuted on June 21 and starred Junaid Khan in his first part together with Shalini Pandey, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharvari (in a unique look), attracted an astounding 5.3 million perspectives in its 2nd week of release. Now its lead actor and Aamir Khan's son has reacted to the milestone.Junaid Khan known as this feat a group win. “I’m best grateful for the love, the appreciation, in addition to the feedback that human beings have given me for my debut. I congratulate my manufacturer YRF, my director Siddharth P. Malhotra, Jaideep sir, Sharvari, Shalini and every cast and team member at this special moment. This is our collective win. We made a special film that Netflix has taken to the world and it's miles resonating with audiences anywhere,” the debutant stated. 

A prison battle and win

After accomplishing this, the film shot to the pinnacle of Netflix's non-English pinnacle ten listing, ranking number two. The movie, which is based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, has struck a chord with viewers because of its gripping tale and superb performing, highlighting the energy of this outstanding teamwork. However, the release of the film became not a cakewalk. The makers needed to undergo a legal conflict to launch the movie on Netflix. A PIL was filed inside the Gujarat High Court declaring that the movie can hurt spiritual sentiments. And the film become postponed hours earlier than its release. 

However, the Gujarat High Court discovered that Maharaj did now not target the Vaishnav Pushtimarg sect as alleged by means of its participants, who had filed a petition against the release of the movie, claiming that it hurts spiritual sentiments. The court stated that the movie has nothing objectionable or derogatory, and allowed its release on streaming platform Netflix.
