Filmmaker Karan Johar said he wanted to launch “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” once more in theatres on the twenty fifth anniversary of the movie, announcing the trend of re-liberating movies was "amazing". Johar, bringing up the re-release of "Rockstar" and a retrospective of Zoya Akhtar that turned into lately held, said liberating cult movies once more might "remind everybody that Hindi cinema rocks".
According to a report in PTI, Karan Johar said, "I feel whilst K3G’s 25 years is completed, which I suppose could be after two years, I suppose we have to re-launch the movie. I haven’t seen the movie myself. I see my films once while they're equipped but now not after that," Johar said on the trailer release of Dharma Productions' upcoming romantic comedy “Bad Newz”.I even have not seen the film in 23 years. When someone makes reels at the dialogues and scenes, that I watch". The filmmaker stated as many audiences have grown up watching those films, re-freeing them can be a reminder for people that "Hindi cinema rocks". “I turned into very excited about films coming lower back. I was so glad that ‘Rockstar’ become launched and it got a whole lot of love. I saw such a lot of reels of human beings, it became receiving so much love. It became a cult film."Some such a lot of human beings have grown up watching movies of the 80s, 90s and 00s and loved them, the filmmaker said. "We need to constantly remind every body that Hindi cinema rocks,” he introduced.
Helmed by Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk. It marks the second collaboration of Kaushal and Tiwari, who formerly worked collectively on the latter's directorial debut "Love Per Square Foot" (2018). The movie is produced with the aid of Amazon Prime in affiliation with Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective.
