In a new uncover, Arjun Kapoor said that he was enthusiastic about doing Kapoor and Sons and surprisingly called up chief Shakun Batra. The 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' entertainer needed to assume the part of Fawad Khan in 'Kapoor and Sons'. The 2016 delivery highlighted Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan. The film was around two alienated siblings who get back to their useless family in Coonoor after their granddad had a cardiovascular failure. 

During a Clubhouse meeting directed by Janice Sequeira and Aniruddha Guha, Arjun admitted that he was keen on Kapoor and Sons, and surprisingly settled on a decision to chief Shakun Batra when he was confronting projecting difficulty. "Not a many individuals know this yet I can admit this now here. I had called up Shakun Batra when Kapoor and Sons was stuck for some time and I had said I would need to do Kapoor and Sons. By then of time, clearly, Shakun didn't see the projecting nailing it," Arjun said. The entertainer added that he needed to assume Fawad's part as he probably was aware they were stalling out with that. 

Arjun further added that he was never offered the film and he had recently heard that the film was being projected yet it was not ending up being a simple exercise. Since Arjun knew Shakun by and by, he hit him up and said, "I couldn't imagine anything better than to peruse and I believe I can assume that part moreover." 

The 'Sardar Ka Grandson' entertainer actually continues to prod Shakun. "Tune Arjun Kapoor ko nahi liya however Arjun Kapoor ka naam le liya (You didn't take Arjun Kapoor in your film yet you took Arjun Kapoor's name).'
